Stop Gum Bleeding after Pulling out Tooth
I’ve just pulled out 2 tooths a week ago. There are still a few more need to go, but I am saving it. I need them to chew, dang haha…
Treat your teeth as your treasure, believe me, once it’s broken, you cannot fix it, and you’ll have to rely on fake tooth. Although the dental service in US is so sophisticated, but it’s unbelievably expensive, especially if you dont have a medical insurance, imagine $5000 for fixing one of your will-be-cracked tooth.
After pulling the tooth out, we have to bite on the cotton or gauze firmly, to stop the bleeding. Blood should stop after few hours, if it didn’t stop, there are some tricks:
1. Bite on tea bags, black tea as Darjeeling or Green Tea
2. or we can use berries: strawberries, cranberries, blueberries; smash them and get the extract. Dip your cotton in the extract and bite on that wet cotton (Yes, a strawberry-flavored-cotton, it really helped me, phew…).
The Tannins in tea and berries, will help to clot the blood and stop the bleeding. Good luck!
Although the gum has stopped bleeding, but it doesn’t mean it has healed up. It will need at least one month to heal up. Still, we have to be careful with that part of the gum, and don’t use mouthwash yet.
